I started teaching people to draw back in high school. In a high school of 3000 kids, my classmates knew me as an artist. Even back then, I was helping people learn how to draw. I even considered becoming a high school art teacher.

I put teaching on the shelf for a long time until I had a family. I wanted to teach my own kids how to draw. And then, I wanted to help other local kids, too. I offered free art classes as my way of giving back to the community, and they were very successful. I had several parents ask me if I offered regular classes which got me thinking: was this something people of all ages wanted?

So I have decided to start offering art lessons. My plan is to work with both individuals as well as small groups.

I work with a variety of mediums:

• Pen & ink

• Watercolor

• Colored pencil

• Pastel

• Acrylic paint

• Marker

• Digital painting (Photoshop, etc.)

• Cartoons, comics, caricatures, animation

• Murals

• Realism

• Impressionism

• Landscapes

• Still life

• Cubism

• Surrealism

• And more...

• Kids | K-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-12

• Adults | Young adults, and the rest of us!
